1.    Familiarize yourself with security checkpoints
2.    If you already own some dark luggage, tie a bright piece of ribbon around each of them, so they’re easier to identify
3.    If you cannot travel light, check in as many bags as possible so you’ll have a faster time clearing the check points
4.    Make sure your bag is water resistant and the wheels are resistant to breaking. Luggage can get thrown around when they’re being transported.
5.    Check with airport agents if some stuff needs extra packaging (like bottles of beer)
