Venice is best known for its canals that are present instead of the usual streets. That’s why the gondolas continue to thrive, there are simply no roads for taxis!
When in Venice, it is sacrilege not to see the squares, parks and palaces. The Churches like Basilica di San Marco is also a must see. Of course, a trip to Venice would not be complete without seeing the bridge of sighs.
