Journeyman Hits New Low in Ratings
Have you seen an advertisement for Journeyman at all? I know I haven’t. The last time I saw a promo that was outside of being a 9:55pm lead in to the show, was the pilot, since then they have been gone. I understand the show is struggling with ratings, but at the same time this is the time of year no one is watching TV so why is NBC just throwing on the last two episodes of Journeyman without at least trying to see if the market can increase. Instead it seems as though NBC is determined just to move on, and with these ratings I don’t see them doing anything else. Here were the ratings for last night:
CBS led again at 10 p.m. with a series-low-tying 3.9 for “CSI: Miami,” while ABC moved up to second with a 2.2 for “October Road.” NBC was third with a 1.6 for “Journeyman” and Univision fourth with a 1.2 for “Cristina.”

NBC has some political axe to grind, I am sure. This is just what Ford Motor Co. did when it wanted to kill the Contour: starve it of any promotional resources. I have people in the US telling me that my blog is the first time they have heard of Journeyman—a blog from a guy in New Zealand. When you hear that, you realize NBC has done a plain lousy job of even wanting to see this show survive.
