So we are starting to get the flow of Journeyman down, he goes back and forth through time, and when he gets back to the present date he learns about the people he is tracking in the past. In this episode, The Year of the Rabbit, Dan starts by going back to 1994 where he meets up with a searching romantic young lady going on a blind date, it turns out her ex-boyfriend is a crazy stalker (or so it seems so far) who just hasn’t got enough of a clue that they are no longer together. Dan goes back to 1997 afterwards and meets up with Livia who is enjoying a nice glass of white wine where they have a pretty non-interesting conversation really not going into any more depth into there relationship and to figure out if she is alive or what is going on in that area.

Dan goes into about five trips through time each episode and he makes another trip back in 1998 where he stops the same lady who runs an internet start up from getting killed. Meanwhile he misses his wife’s big charity event which she considers her “Super Bowl” of the year. In The Year of the Rabbit it is more apparent then ever that Dan’s marriage is definitely in a rocky area. Katie is really worried about Livia being a part of Dan’s life again and we find that Katie seems to maybe have a little spark with Dan’s brother resurfacing, something to watch out for in the coming episodes that’s for sure.

Dan ends up finishing up this trip with one of the less interesting conclusions to a time traveling event thus far. We don’t necessarily learn a whole lot about much of anything in this episode other then there is still a bit of a spark between Katie and Dan’s brother. Dan and Katie’s relationship is really one that is being tested each week and I wouldn’t be surprised if Katie just wants to give it up in future episodes. Overall The Year of Rabbit was not one of the better Journeyman episodes, the trip back to the late 90’s wasn’t all that exciting. Although this episode had very little in terms of plot development, it will however start a lot of talk about Dan and Katies relationship and there future together.
