Macau: Las Vegas of the East
Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about Macau. It’s been getting hype as Asia’s new Las Vegas, with its gorgeous hotel chains popping up, as well as the infamous casinos!
Macau is also has another face- that of the churches, the food that is of Portuguese colonial influence that is set on the unmistakable China coast.
Macau has experienced a tourist boom as of late. Gone is the sleepy little village! In its place are the bright and bustling casinos, taking the gambling tradition to new heights. The Mega casinos only mean there are more chances for you to get lucky, but there are also other ways to experience Macau’s charm too!
Visit the A-Ma Statue and Temple as well as the Chapel of St. Francis Xavier for a spiritual experience. You can choose to wander through the halls of Casa Garden Art Gallery. A day at the Cheoc Van Beach is also an appealing option.
