Israel is probably the most famous country in the whole world. You have heard it in theology class and perhaps history. Israel was where Abraham was born, the father of all nations. Although Israel is a very old country, it also has modern attractions for tourists.

One of the most famous cities is Bethlehem. Everyone knows what is special about Bethlehem; here is where Jesus was born. Bethlehem still has the atmosphere of an old city, with markets, bazaars, and sheep with the shepherds.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. You can see more tourists here. The favorite destination is the Israel Museum which houses many old scriptures and art. In this small city, you will be able to see countless churches, synagogues, and mosques. Whether you’re Jew, Christian, or Muslim, there is something special to be found here.

 The Dead Sea is not to be missed too. This is the lowest point of the earth and although the name might not sound too appealing, this is popular among tourists. This sea is awfully salty so there’s no marine life to be found here.

Israel has cities you may have heard about but never seen. All I can say is, visit Israel.
