1. Make sure you invest in a well-padded case to carry your laptop in!
2. Take your laptop as your carry on! Never ever check it in!
3. Update your security applications like your anti-virus, firewall and anti-spyware.
4. Refrain and limit confidential information transmission. Don’t type in your credit card numbers and social security numbers in unfamiliar networks.
5. Make sure a remote web mail account is set up for you so you can easily access mail.
